Building Materials Supplier for Ghana, Shipped from China
As a building materials supplier, Ghana from China is the route we know best. Decoropic is the brand of Foshan Home Style Import & Export Co., Ltd., founded in 2011 in Foshan. Our founder has 26 years in the building-materials trade and more than 20 years working in Ghana. We buy in Foshan, check and consolidate the goods in our own warehouse, ship to Tema, and our staffed Accra office follows the job through to site: measurement before the order, clearing at Tema, and installation supervision after delivery.
Ports and transit
| Destination port | Typical sea transit from South China | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Tema (FCL) | About 28–35 days | Main container port for Accra and most of our deliveries; cleared by our Tema clearing partners |
| Tema (LCL / shared container) | Add about 7–10 days to FCL | Extra time for consolidation and deconsolidation |
| Takoradi | Confirmed at booking | Western Region port; useful for sites in the west |
Transit ranges are published forwarder estimates and change with carrier, routing and season. We confirm the schedule at booking.

How delivery works
- 01Site measurement. Our Accra team visits the site by company car and measures rooms, openings and wet areas.
- 02Selection and quotation. We prepare the product list and quotation for your approval, by category.
- 03Sourcing and QC. Goods are bought in Foshan, then checked for quantity, size and visible defects at our warehouse.
- 04Consolidated loading. All categories are packed into one or more containers, with a packing list and a photo record of loading.
- 05Tema clearing. Our clearing partners handle the containers at Tema port.
- 06Installation supervision. Our team in Ghana guides your installers on site.
Import notes
- Keep the commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading consistent; differences between them slow clearing.
- Ask early whether your project needs a certificate of origin or other supporting documents.
- Choose finishes for heat and humidity: moisture-resistant boards for cabinets and suitable sealants in wet areas.
- For coastal sites, specify hardware and fittings that tolerate salt air.
- Allow time after vessel arrival for clearing and haulage before your installers are booked.
