The brief
A two-bedroom apartment in Airport Residential, bought for rental and needing a clean, durable refresh rather than a full redesign. The owner's priorities were speed and cost control: a new kitchen, two refreshed bathrooms, replacement interior doors, fitted wardrobes, new floor tiles and replacement furniture, all from one order and finished before the next tenancy.

Challenges and how we handled them
- Short programme. Six weeks leaves no slack for custom production. The scheme was built from standard ranges that factories hold in stock, which is the main reason the Functional tier can move this fast.
- Working in an existing apartment. Typical for a refresh, old fittings had to come out before new ones went in. Removal was scheduled in the week the container was at sea so the apartment was ready when goods arrived.
- Consolidation. A 140 m² apartment does not fill a container on its own.
Result
A rental apartment refreshed in six weeks with a new kitchen, two bathrooms, doors, wardrobes, floors and replacement furniture, all from one Foshan order.
