The brief
An existing three-bedroom penthouse in Trasacco, around ten years old and fully fitted, which the owner wanted stripped back and refinished to a higher standard rather than patched. The scope covered everything visible: a new entrance door, floors, interior doors, a custom kitchen, a master suite with dressing room and bathroom, two further bathrooms, furniture and a full lighting and smart-home scheme, all at the Luxury tier.

Challenges and how we handled them
- Strip-out in an occupied building. Typical for a refit, removal of the old fit-out had to follow building rules on noise, hours and waste. The strip-out was programmed during the shipping window so the apartment was clear when the container landed.
- Large items and lift access. The entrance door and some surface panels do not fit a standard lift. Item sizes were checked against the lift and stair at survey stage and large panels were cut to manageable sizes in Foshan.
- Longer production. Custom joinery and Luxury-tier finishes extend factory lead times. The 16-week programme allowed for this rather than compressing it.
Result
A ten-year-old penthouse refitted to a Luxury standard in 16 weeks: a new entrance door and floors, a custom kitchen, a complete master suite, three bathrooms, furniture, and lighting with smart-home control throughout.
